The FTC or Federal Trade Commission works on behalf of consumers throughout the United States for more than 90 years. They gather and publish consumer information to educate and inform them. They also investigate consumer complaints of fraud and unfair business practices.
The FTC says to be aware of credit repair companies that make claims they can’t follow through. Fraudulent claims are illegal, like promising to repair your credit in a short period of time.
Any credit repair agency must use care in the claims that they make, just as any company in any industry must. A company operating under the name of the national credit repair agency was charged with “engaging in fraudulent credit repair activities” by the Federal Trade Commission released in 2003.

The label itself tells us that Public Divorce Records are open to people’s access. That is based on the policy that’s indicated in the Freedom of Information Act. Literally, that means that anyone who wants to access these records have all the rights to do so as long as the proper procedures have been done. Not all organizations agree on that Act, but Public Divorce Records does.
Who stores these divorce records for public access? To mention one, these records can be found in a state courthouse. These courthouses are required to document any divorce that has been filed. If you’re about to search a divorce record for certain purposes, you have to remember that only those certified true copies of divorce certificate are accepted for legality basis.
People also have access to Divorce Court Records. A number of helpful information will be found in such records. These often include personal details about both parties, their parents’ and children’s, the when, where, and why of the divorce proceedings, filing number, decree, asset division and settlement, restraining orders, children custody, etc.

Intellectual property (IP) is a number of various types of legal monopolies over creations of the idea, both artistic and commercial, and the related areas of law. Under intellectual property law, owners have sole rights to several intangible assets such as musical, literary, and artistic works; ideas, breakthroughs, and inventions; and words. phrases, symbols, and designs. Intellectual property has been divided into four main categories namely patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets.
Copyrights give lawful rights to both unpublished and published original creations. They are used to secure the authorship of works like poetic compositions, songs, stories, films etc. By making use of copyrights, the owner is able to legally protect the expression of an original idea for a certain time span, during which only he or she has the right to reproduce it, permit its adaptation, show it to people, or sell it. In most nations, a copyright survives for fifty years following the author’s demise and any unlawful use within this period is considered an offence.
Patents are lawful and registered rights that allow creators to prevent others from producing or marketing their invention. They provide protection not just for technological breakthroughs and scientific theories but also for new discoveries in the field of biology. Most of the nations provide patent cover only for a span of 20 years, following which the invention no longer remains in the private domain and the owner loses his exclusive rights.

A patent gives an inventor exclusive legal rights on his invention and also for the process of manufacture that his invention would require. It promotes innovative ideas and inventions and is therefore considered very important in the commercial world.
When a person puts in his time and effort and invents a commercially viable invention, he would not normally want others to take benefit of it. However, when you talk about your product in public or work towards promotion of the product, some infringement of your right over your invention is likely to take place. In such cases, patent laws can help you protect your rights.
Patent laws give the inventor legal ownership over his product and processes thereto along with the right of exclusive usage for a certain period, after which any other person can make use of that invention for his or her own gain. This allows the inventor to get significant returns on his efforts in a lawful manner and also to take action against any person who is found infringing his rights over the invention or the process.

Part I of this series revealed that many insurance carriers seek to convince individuals that the services chiropractors perform hurt, not help, your chances of obtaining a lawsuit loan. Although insurance carriers have many reasons to assert the foregoing, the fact is that settlement funding is often enhanced because chiropractors are willing to see those who suffer injury due to the fault of someone else’s negligence, providing care and treatment that physicians and surgeons refuse to provide, working closely with the injured individuals and also attempt to coordinate care with physicians and surgeons willing to co-manage such cases.
Your lawsuit loan has a much greater chance of being granted if your case actually has demonstrable damages and losses. Settlement funding is unlikely if your physician denies that the event on which your claim is predicated even occurred, let alone documents injuries and losses attributed thereto.
Chiropractors, if they accept your case and they are experienced in the management of such cases, can be of tremendous assistance to you, your attorney, and the lender.

We are all aware that the process of selling one’s house can be a tricky business; especially if you are new to the game and aren’t aware of all the ‘hidden costs’ that one may incur in making the sale; however, a Manchester conveyancing solicitor has criticised a new bid by the government to put even more costs on to the process of selling a property.

The government aims to make the much-contested Home Information Pack compulsory in an upcoming Housing Bill, with new laws within the conveyancing world having been proposed, laws that would cause homeowners to pay approximately 600 simply to put their property on the market.

A patent gives you the power to protect your inventions from being infringed upon by unscrupulous entities. However, in order to get the benefit of the safety given by a patent, you must register your invention with the authorities.
Filing a patent application can often be a hard task. Here are a few points that should be taken into account so that the chances of your application being rejected are reduced.
Firstly, your patent should be in accordance with the NUN thumb rule – novelty, utility and non-obviousness. In other words, your concept should be novel and should be capable of commercial viability as well as marketability, as no government would want to grant a patent for a useless invention. You must therefore make sure that your invention is not similar to some other commercial idea or should not be something that does not have a future market worth. In addition, it must be non-obvious to other persons in that field, in the sense that others should not be able to come up with/arrive at the same idea easily.

In the last decade or so, internet has revolutionised every part of our lives. It has connected everything in such a way that the world does not feel that big anymore. We can now get all kinds of information in seconds and it is more authentic. Everyday tasks like shopping, business, and personal life socialising can all be done over the internet. Nobody could have imagined this until the 90s. Internet has become the fastest mode of getting everything done.
Tourism is one of the fields directly benefiting from the advancements in internet technology. We have amazing facilities like I-booking and I-banking to assist us in making traveling plans. Mode of travelling is also no longer limited to trains and planes, but it has expanded to other forms of public transports and boats, ferries and even rent-a-car.
By making your conveyance booking online, you can avoid going through a lot of problems and save some cash as well. Normally when you travel, you have to go to a travel agency office, wait until someone is available to assist you and get the required information regarding timing and fares for the flights. If you are looking for a pick and drop service to and from the airport, it will cost you more. You also pay extra for travelling during the stay. Now after paying for everything you might not even get exactly what you paid for or in worst cases, your conveyance may not be available at all. This can be frustrating.

The global economy is becoming more and more competitive. Small businesses should have “resume fluffing” on their radar. It includes different degrees of deception, including false employers, false degrees, and false achievements. People are also more than happy exaggerating their role, authority, and size of their staff that they were managing. There is more to be concerned about than potential employees fibbing on their applications. The shortcomings of a business are more obvious in a down economy; they are also more expensive.
Not just employees need to be checked. The use of independent contractors in your business may decrease your legal or financial liability, but your reputation is often at stake. To avoid potential public relations nightmares, you should find two or three reliable contractors, enough to survive a crisis, but no more than you need. Call their previous clients and conduct background checks.
When a business environment becomes difficult, some contractors and employees will survive on their reputation, while others will rely on marketing and deception. Credibility has become less expensive and successful businesses will look past a business card or website and perform the due diligence required to protect their image from charlatans and con artists.
